Hello girlz, so today we gonna talk about a tool you, I am sure, already heard about; The facial cleansing brush.

Today, hundreds of brands propose thousands of differents brushes, going from the spinning to the oscillating and do not forget the vibrating ones at different price ranges  (from affordable to expensive AF). We people have to  many choices.

So in today’s topic, I will try to share my truth about these brushes and if we really need in daily basis.

A year ago, I decided to go for it and bought my first and only facial brush, not because I had some kind of particular skin issue (except some acne scars, but not big deal), but because I was and still am a skincare products junkie. My heart and my broke self fell for the VP ultimate skin spa system.

Why I chose the VP ultimate skin spa system brush ?

First, I do not like to spend tons of money in items (good shoes excluded) and the VP brushes are pretty affordable if you use the 70% off coupon code. I bought mine for 40 and something euros.

The ultimate skin spa is a spinning device which comes in a box (practical to store it) and composed of a battery powered, dual-speed handle and 3 brushes;

The daily cleasing brush: a super soft nylon brush designed to gently lift away dead cells.

The exfoliating: already harder on touch than the previous one, and the name says it all.

The silicone brush: made out of flexible, gentle silicone bristles. More suitable for sensitive skin.

With all these, you can easily adjust the device to your needs.

My thought on this so called miracle product

i did noticed improvements for a moment. After the first use, my skin was glowing and felt deep cleansed. But it did not last long. After few weeks of daily use, my skin started to dry out due to the overuse. I then tried to use it twice a week, and it was for the best. No more sahara like skin. To be honest, today (so a year after the first use) I only use it when I really need a deep exfoliation, once a month.

My conclusion:

In my very personnal opinion, a facial cleansing brush is not absolutly necessary. You can easily achive the same result without the long term side effects with a good exfoliant and it will cost yu less kowing that the brushes need to be change every 3 months. I’ve never changed mines because it can be expensive and I do not use it as often.

Et voilà ! What do you think about a facial brush. Is it a must have for you or not ?
